A Home at the End of the World (Rated R)

This artsy film is as complicated as it is slow and ridiculously filmed.

To put into lame terms this movie is like the TV show 'Will & Grace' on the big screen--With the addition of a baby.

We have Colin Farrell character that looses an older brother at a young age that gets attached to another boy from the neighborhood and they become 'experimental' in both drugs and sexual.

Colin's character has charmed everyone he has come into contact too and is not even in the movie for the first half.

The 'friend' leaves to NYC and hooks up with a redheaded woman, played by Robin Wright Penn (who isn't recognizable from her other roles) and the two of them are working on have a child.

Well, Colin's character goes to live with them and ta-da old feelings for his friend and interest in the friend's gal comes into play.

Soon we have a child on the way-and the guys are still 'together' romantically.  It's a whole love fest with Colin's character in the middle.

The underlined story line that doesn't come to light is that Colin's love interest is slowly dying from AIDS. Though the word never comes to the screen.

Did I just buy this movie?  Why?  Damn you Colin for making me.
