King Arthur (Extended Unrated Version)

Be careful for what you ask for because you just might get a semi-bad movie.

Image all you know about King Arthur and his dream of Camelot and rewind it a version.

We find Arthur fighting for Rome with his band of forced Knights enduring battle scenes galore.

The Knights are sons of legendary knights that were spared only to have their future male heirs being forced into "service" for 15 years of their life.

The story picks up that the men on their last day before getting their walking papers for service are forced to rescue a family and bring them to the castle.  The boy is to be the next Bishop. 

Unless you've known Ioan Gruffudd from any of his other movies you would swear (if your into that kind of thing) he was a totally different person.  Ioan plays the curly-haired Sir Lance-a-lot where shows little interest in Quenivere.

We have Merlin, references to God, the impossible bravely of the knights fighting along side Arthur.  There is reference to the "round table" but not much else.

In the extras where some of the cast and director are talking about the movie they are...yes...sitting at a round table.  I blew the extras off.

For a good rental-yes.  To add to your collection if you're not a Clive, Ioan, or Keira Knightly fan-no.
