just married (PG-13)

just married staring Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy

This is a story about a rich girl (Sarah) who marries a regular smuck (Tom) to the much surprise to her family and ex-boyfriend.  Then the movie entails the flashback of what occurred from when they first meet, to the dating, to the engagement, to the wedding and then to the honeymoon.

Warning:  If you saw the Comedy Centrals special then you saw the movie.

Warning #2:  There is one "adult" scene when they are in France, but most teens might have already known what the object mentioned and briefly seen is.

This movie is on the level of "Dude, where's my car?" and is like a 3 Stooges version for women to enjoy.

This is a couple with too much free time and no appearance of having responsibilities in their lives.  It seems to be all fun and games and they realize marriage isn't that at all, but much be endured through good AND bad times.

The locations of France and Italy were brief, but breathtaking and Ashton and Brittany is a believable couple on screen to make the movie work.

However, the movie is not "ha ha" funny, but does have funny moments in it.  I paid $19.99 for my DVD copy and should have waited until it came down to $9.99 to add it to my collection.

Better yet unless your one for very sweet tooth endings then I suggest you first rent this movie before purchasing.  It is nowhere near the level of "How to Lose A Man in 10 Days", but for a nice teen comedy it was worth getting.

I say 2 out of 5 stars.
