Old School: Unrated and out of control

When will they learn that members and former members of SNL (Saturday Night Live) carry around some type of curse where they totally shouldn't attempt to star or co-star or even make a cameo in any movie?

If you recall Road Trip starring Tom Green and like that movie then you'll love this movie because it's done by the same guy.  And if you admit liking Road Trip starring Tom Green then GET HELP NOW!

This movie is about 3 friends that are in their early 30's in different stages of material status and trying to recapture their youth and start a fraternity.  The only thing you'll recapture is your lunch if you watch this movie.

 If you saw the previews to this movie you saw the entire funny parts of the movie.

The story would have been stronger if the deleted scenes were somehow brought into the story because without them you miss a lot of the inside story.  What I saying?  Story?  There's no REAL story, but several cuss words and a shot of 2 topless girls that make this story.  If it weren't for Vince Vaughn the movie would be total waste of film.

The spoof in the "extras" was totally slow and DUMB-and the outtakes/bloopers were totally NOT FUNNY!

The movie only starts to get funny in the last 15 minutes or so when they have to prove worthy of being a frat.

And in any fashion if you think Luke Wilson is hot (as he appears descent in the movie and maybe could pull off being a brother figure to Gerard Butler minus the accent) then I suggest NOT to watch the "spoof" in the extras because he looks so pale, unfunny, and totally not sexy at all.

Two quotes from a man's point of view on the movie:  "It was all right.  It was kind of like that Van Wilder movie." And "I paid $14.99 for it.... I might have waited until it came down to $9.99 or just rented it."

Two quotes from me:  "If you are a Luke Wilson fan rent The Royal Tenenbaums, if you're a Vince Vaughn fan rent any other movie than this one, and if you're a Will Ferrell fan watch him only on SNL or reruns on SNL." And "Don't even bother buying it at the $9.99 price rent it for 2 bucks or just don't buy this one at all.  Don't be a Fool-Don't watch Old School."

Just Read a Book over watching this movie--you'll be glad you did!
