Paparazzi (PG-13)

Have you ever picked up a tabloid like the Star or The Enquire and think of how photographers got that special or private shot?

In the Mel Gibson directed Paparazzi (down to 5 dollar rack) we watch the bad photographers work.

A collection of paparazzi zero in the latest and hottest action star and things go from innocent to almost deadly.

They newest celebrity is driving home with his wife and son when the stalkers swarm in for a single shot where they cause an accident.

Even in the most deadly of accidents they forget their morals and continue to "get the shot".

Then before they have time to count their money the star turns the table on them.  First innocently, but then in twists and turns that will cheer him on.

There is always a price to fame, fortune and power, which is the lack of privacy.

There is a line in the movie where the head paparazzi says, "we are like a door to the outside and its up to the celebrity if they walk through it or not." (If they fall for the paparazzi tactics to get the shot).

You will think at the end that the star didn't learn his lesson, but within the last moments you shall see different.

This is a good cheap movie to watch.

Spoilers:  There is a cameo of Mel as a patient in the shrink's office and a cameo of Matthew McConaughey at the end of the movie.
