Punch Drunk Love~2 disc special edition $19.99 (way too much)

Adam Sandler plays a loner who has no social life and runs a novelty business.  He has 7 sisters that influence and stresses him out over his lack of love life.  He holds these frustrations internally and only exhibits them with bouts of anger that is violent.

He calls up a 1-900 number and gets more than he bargains for as the woman turns to extortion.  Upon this stressful situation he also meets a woman to fill in the gaps of his life through one of his annoying sisters.

He learns to take a risk and follows his love to Hawaii where later on his return is where his violence comes handy.

If you have to think of symbolism, such as how he relates to the emanated object of the Harmonium (mini-piano) he relates to.  A lost object no one wanted, fixing it, making changes so it works...then this movie is all yours.

Adam should stick to Comedy and NOT Dramas and it isn't until 1/2 way through the movie does it get interesting.

The Punch must be spiked or you should be Drunk to understand the movie, but I can't see how you'd Love it at all.

I say if you need a movie to have a psychotic flashback too while watching then get this movie on rental.  Other from that~~avoid this movie!!
