Babel (Rated R)

This movie is more disturbing that interesting.  We have several stories brought together like the movie 'Crash', but a much lower level.

We have the main 'American' characters that somehow you are to figure out that not only are they having 'issues', but follow the 'Middle East' family that has 'perv' issues and a little experiencing his sexual experience by himself thanks to peeking at his sister.  We then have our 'Mexican' family that is more dysfunctional than practical and lastly our 'Asian' family that involves a def-mute, enjoying drinking, drugs, and nightlife and getting nude every moment possible.

The 'American' tourist is in the Middle East and two boys goofing around with a rifle injure the wife.  A rifle that was once donated to a friend via the 'Asian' visitor.  Then we have the 'Mexican' family having their own story trying to attend a wedding.

It's so crazy to follow that I say save your sanity and skip this movie.  The movie wasn't doing much talking, but the Babel going on was saying, "Don't rent or purchase me!" loud and clear.
