DareDevil (PG-13)

Based in the comic with the same name this movie is jam-packed and non-stop action.

Ben Affleck plays Matthew Murdock, who as a child was blinded by harmful chemicals, but received super power in his other senses.  In some way through sound itself he can "see" images as well.

Even if your not an Affleck fan you shouldn't pass up this flick.  He plays modern day lawyer by day and crime fighter named duh, Daredevil at night.

The entire cast from Jennifer Gardner who plays his "equal and love interest" and to the "bad guys" Colin Farrell (Bulls eye) and Michael Clark Duncan (Kingpin) really keep the story moving along.

If your looking for obvious plot~better luck next time, but for action~it's in throughout the movie from start to finish.

The second dvd is a total snooze so if you can just get the one disk or buy the set for less than the $24.99 then you can skip it.  Wait until it comes down to $19.99, but if you get the 2-disk set you'll still should skip it, unless you have insomnia or are some tech geek that needs to know every computer generated feature or a total comic book freak.

The good thing about the 2nd dvd is the video from Evanescence "Bring me to Life".

You might even been a little off at some of Ben's hairdo in the picture as it appears the front section to be so fake looking and flaky that it can pass as some type of toupee.

Always nice to have family in the flick as we see Colin Farrell's sister perform in the movie (well, she's in a bar scene dressed in blue-doesn't do much, but also is the voice on the answering machine) as we learn from commentary.

There are a lot of areas ready to set up for a squeal because some questions are never answered even at the end.  (As the credit role~wait for an additional scene from the movie even though its not funny.)  Also the guys in the commentary mention a possible 2005 release for a squeal.

Not a Ben fan, but overall it's a 31/2 stars out of 5 and for action a 5 out of 5.  There is not a lot of sex or potty mouth (except in interview with Colin~shocker), but there is A LOT of violence.

This movie is no sweet Spiderman flick, but is a darker version of it, but no less wonderful to watch.

Wait until the price comes down to $19.99 and add it to your collection.
