Don't Say A Word (Rated R)

In "Don't Say A Word" it displays the creative talents of one director who has taken the words suspense and thriller to a whole new level.

Image your child is taken from you and the only way to get her back is to retrieve a number from a mentally disturbed girl.  That is what psychologist, played by Michael Douglas, must do.

Brittany Murphy plays the girl to a tee with just the right skills that is not over played and keeps the story without stopping with any lapses.  There are flashback scenes that co-inside with the current story.

Sean Bean, of Lord of the Rings fame, plays the ultimate bad guy who you seriously want to beat the crap out of as your understand his role in the girls pain.

There are 2 items I didn't care for is a woman cop who comes to save the day on her own before her "back-up" comes and why did Sean Bean's character return to the scene of the crime to get caught?
