Flight of the Phoenix (PG-13)

This movie has a lot of 'how would you survive if in the same situation' style.

When a cargo plane collects a bunch of disappointed oilrig workers who never struck oil, a corporate man, and a stranger you never know what would happen next.

During a freak sand storm the cargo plane is brought down into the Gobi desert where the temperature is the least of their concerns.

We watch, as this bunch of survivors must find out a plan to get to freedom.  It's the idea of a platinum blonde (you won't recognize him) Giovanni Ribisi character that gives them hope.

The twist near the end of the true nature of Ribisi's character is interesting and original.

The only downside of this movie is that it isn't until 1/2 way through that our characters begin to show they truly sweat and no one mentions that they each should stink.

The last 10 minutes will have you on the end of the couch cheering them on and this is a good rental.
