Hide and Seek (Rated R)

This mentally seeking thriller has all the makings of a cult classic.

We have a frustrated father who is trying to help his daughter through a traumatic loss of her mother and he hopes a new environment and new adventures will ease her back into society.

There is a MASSIVE twist in the story near the end and yet events leading up to it doesn't clue you in on what it could be.

If you saw the previews you haven't seen the movie at all because it's so much more.

The ending itself is fine, but one of the alternative endings - One Final Game--I think is the best.  You can either set it to play that ending (from the start menu) or just watched what the theater played or watch the endings under extras.

There is one MAJOR spook spot in the movies (hint:  darkness) and the rest is all sit and wait mental horror.

Three out of Five stars.
