Moll Flanders is a period piece of a woman's life told through her companion told to a child that was lost into the orphanage system.
Morgan Freeman locates the missing heir and tells, from a journal, the life story of her mother as they travel to the girl's benefactor.
It has a nice story for the price if you can get past the fact that Moll Flanders was a prostitute before finding love of her life that dies of small pox while she is pregnant with their child.
The ending is kind of predicable at the last second and the ending is corny as heck, but its heck a lot better than I thought, but its all Morgan Freeman's presence that makes the movie worthy.
